Brief Biography

WORK

Max is a Strategic Partnership Development Manager at Google, leading 3p technology partnerships for the company’s Demand Side Platform (Display & Video 360), buyside Ad Server (Campaign Manager), and other key emerging buyside tools. His contributions have enabled an estimated $1.2Bln+ in incremental ad spend to non-Google owned publishers globally. He is a founding member of Google’s BGN@P (Black Googler Network within Partnerships) employee resource group, and is an ally to other employee resource groups promoting and supporting a diverse workforce.

Max transitioned to Google from LiveRamp (NYSE: RAMP) when LiveRamp was a 90-person company owned by Acxiom (NYSE: ACXM, sold to IPG). He established 75+ partnerships for the company over a 2.5 year tenure. LiveRamp is a leader in data connectivity, helping the world's largest brands use their data to improve customer interactions on any channel and device.

Prior to LiveRamp, Max worked as an Equity Research Associate covering the Hardline Retail sector at UBS Investment Bank. During his time at UBS, he obtained his FINRA 7, 63, 86, and 87 certifications and the team he was a part of was twice ranked as a top three Equity Research team for Retail coverage by Institutional Investor.

SERVICE

Max sits on the Executive Advisory Board for Alternatives in Action, an Oakland-based charter school organization with educational programs and facilities helping 1,300+ Oakland, CA youth. He has volunteered since 2016, organizing book drives, corporate on-sites with students, and serving as a member of the organization’s 20th Anniversary Committee.

Max serves as the current Vice President of the Alpha Chapter Alumni Association for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. He has been a member of the alumni association since 2011 and a member of the fraternity since 2008.

In 2013 - 2014, Max served as a member of the Young Leadership Council for the Boys and Girls Harbor, a non-profit in Harlem, NYC committed to empowering young people through a rigorous academic education, enriched by the arts.

EDUCATION

Max graduated from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University (Ithaca, NY) in 2011, majoring in Social Influence and Information Technology in the Communications department, as well as Entrepreneurship in the Applied Economics and Management department.

He is the active alumni Secretary for his high school class at St. Albans School based in Washington, DC. At St. Albans, Max served as Class President for 2 years, Vice President for 1 year, co-editor of the literary magazine “Gyre”, a two-sport varsity letterman, and played in the school’s orchestra.
